College

Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) was established under the trust "Tamilian Educational Scociety" in 2001 in Puttur, Chittot District, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This trust was founded by Bharath Jyothi Dr. R. Venkata Swami based on the firm belief that education especially higher education provides a critical pathway to leadership development, economic progress, and social political equality. SVPCET was established in the year 2001.

SVPCET is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Anantapuramu and recognized by AICTE. Also the institution got recognition under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956 in 2011.

SVPCET is offering Five (05) UG Engineering programmes namely, Civil Engineering (CE-60 seats), Mechanical Engineering (ME-120 seats), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE-45 seats), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE-180 seats), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE-120 seats), & three (03) M.Tech programmes, viz. VLSI Design (18 seats ), Electrical Power Systems (18 seats), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE-24 seats), apart from offering MBA (120 seats), and MCA (60 seats) courses. This year (2017-18), the college has a total student intake of 765 in five undergraduate and five postgraduate programmes.

Event

AAVISHKAAR - 2k18 is a National Level Project Expo Cum Contest which provides opportunity to students of Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science / IT , Mechanical, Civil and MCA Departments to showcase their technical skills, innovative ideas and competency to solve real life problems. The theme of AAVISHKAAR - 2k18 centers around "Initiate, Innovate and Implement for Smarter India", while focusing on exploring different trends of computing in the areas different technologies.

Potential project groups from various engineering institutions are invited to submit abstract (.doc or .pdf format), video link of working model (.mpeg, .mp4 format), and description of about one page (.pdf or.doc format) on the topics related to AAVISHKAAR - 2k18.

The registered groups are required to showcase their projects using live demonstration on 24th February, 2018 at SVPP, Puttur. Based on the recommendation by the Experts from Industry and Academia will review the project deliverables and shortlist top project groups.

Project Expo

•  A team can consist of maximum 4 members from the same college, but can be from different departments. A college can send any number of teams.
• Participants should register online and need to send their Abstract / proposal preferably in '.doc' or '.pdf' format to aavishkaar@svpcet.org.
• The projects can be in any related field or area, not restricted to the themes given.
• A brief idea of how the design could be presented (exhibited) during the Expo Should also be included in the abstracts.
• Participants have to confirm their participation and send the details of the Project to the email ID   aavishkaar@svpcet.org. The name of the document should be the 'Title of the Project' along with the fee payment details.
• Subject of the mail sent should follow the title of the project.

  The first page should contain the following:

• Names of the participant and their respective College/University with contact numbers and e- mail ID.
• The last sheet may have a list of references - websites, books, journals and so on which amply support the ideas or solutions implemented.
• The Participants should bring all the necessary materials, hardware, software, etc related to their project work. The electric power supply and Internet connectivity shall be made available.
