Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested and eligible Engineering colleges for setting up of CM’s SECs across the State.
Background : APSSDC was formed to bring faster execution of skill initiatives, coordinate and synergize skilling efforts of all departments. It acts as a nodal agency for promotion of skill development, entrepreneurship & innovation in the State. APSSDC covers all groups, both academic and non-academic. One major group under academic is engineering profession
About CM Skill Excellence Centers (CMSEC) : In order to scale up and increase the number of skilled candidates in Engineering Colleges and increase the placements, APSSDC is planning to setup two labs namely Computing lab and Design, Automation, and Simulation labs with Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR) under CMSEC to impart skills to the candidates in the college and other candidates selected by APSSDC and improve the placements opportunity
Skill Excellence Centers - Computing Labs (Knowledge partners : Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Udacity, Coursera, etc)
Skill Excellence Center - Design, Automation, and Simulation labs with AR/VR (Knowledge partner : Dassault Systemes)
Who can Participate : Any engineering college of Andhra Pradesh can participate. College should be willing and accept conditions in attached docuement)

Registration Fee : Institutional Membership Rs.1000/-, Department Memebership Rs.500/- (If the college is already registered for memebership. they are requeted to complete the next steps of application process)
Last date for registration : 07th Feb 2018
Note : Colleges needs to make presentation on plan of action for implementing the above-mentioned requirements after completion of application process and participate in face to face interaction post qualifying the eligibility criteria.
