ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state Governments and Industries. ICT Academy is a not-for-profit society, the first of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model that endeavors to train the higher education teachers and students thereby exercises developing the next generation teachers and industry ready students.
ICT Academy was started to meet the skill requirements of the industry and generate more employment especially in tier 2 and 3 towns, the rural parts of the country. The organization was formed with representations from the State Governments, leading companies in the ICT industry and National Association of Software Services Companies (NASSCOM) in India.n the last 7 years, ICT Academy has strived on every aspect to provide a holistic service to every stakeholder of the education ecosystem in developing the next generation of talent pool in India to make them industry ready employees, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
ICT Academy is recently endorsed and recommended by NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog), the National Planning body of Government of India as one of the unique organization for dissemination and replication, which is aligned to the Skill India Vision of the Government of India.
YOUTH TALK - ICT ACADEMY
Speech is an art. Great speech brings out a commendable leader within. If speaking skills are fostered when young, it could bring one to the limelight.
Andhra Pradesh has produced many such leaders over the ages, of whom, the executives of corporate, Ramoji Rao, Eenadu Group, and Kallam Anji Reddy of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories are the names that emerged from the state of Andhra Pradesh.
On this trail, ICT Academy, to evolve leadership among college students in the form of highly effective and inspiring talks organizes “ICT Academy Youth Talk – Andhra Pradesh”. ICT Academy Youth Talk – Andhra Pradesh encourages students from all disciplines to deliver short talk midst their peers, the inspiring ideas, and thoughts that change lives, attitudes etc.
The talk can be on Technology, Engineering, Science, Future world, National & International Issues (non-political), Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Business, Management, Media, Entertainment, and on any other topic that contributes to the transformation.
This initiative identifies young, powerful communicators who can communicate their thoughts to inspire the peers and the youth community online.
Contest Flow:
- Apply online along with the YouTube video link (YouTube link should contain the 3 minute speech video of the contestant)
- The contest will be conducted is 3 regions namely, Vijayawada, Nellore & Vishakapatnam.
- Initial Screening: Top 100 will be shortlisted in each region (through YouTube link submitted by the contestants)
- Regional Pre-Finals (face-to-face): The Top 10 will be shortlisted from each region, out of the Top 100
- Regional Finals (face-to-face): One Regional Topper from each region will be identified to compete in State Finals. (3 Regional Finalists)
- State Finals (face-to-face): 3 Regional Finalists will compete in the State Final and the winner will be recognized and awarded with the complimentary educational tour to Singapore.
