APSSDC : Certifications Courses 2017-18

APSSDC would like to offer certification courses to the faculty and students of your college. You are requested to depute one/two faculty from the respective department to offer the courses to the students with the support of the Knowledge Partners (Google, Microsoft, Udacity) and APSSDC (Trainer Cum Developer).

 Eligibility: APSSDC Institutional & Departmental Membership is required to enable this course in your college. If you are not a member of APSSDC click <here> for membership 

 Benefits for the faculty:

  • To encourage research & real-time solutions in cutting edge technologies
  • Eligible to work in APSSDC CoE’s like Siemens, Google Code labs etc.
  • APSSDC will pay the full certification fee
  • Free Amazon Web Services account worth of $250

Please note that the registered faculty & students will get the Pre-requisite course links. 

Udacity:
Training Model & Phases: Udacity online accounts for prerequisite & actual courses will be provided. Udacity & APSSDC will monitor the performance on regular basis. The prerequisite course will be completed in the first semester. Faculty/Students who have completed prerequisite courses are eligible to take the final certification.

Fee Structure:
The course can be completed in 1month to 5 months’ time depending on the effort & time put in by the Faculty/students. Students will get 100% to 25% of fee reimbursement towards the final certification fee after successful completion.

Note: Total course duration is 250 hours, Students will get reimbursement as per above. Faculty/Students are encouraged to complete the course in shortest time for effective monetary benefit. Udacity will arrange drives for successful Nano degree holders.

  • Fee – Free of cost
  • Prerequisite courses – Registered candidates will get links to Microsoft prerequisite courses; Course content is attached.
  • Workshops – Microsoft team will visit your college and conduct workshops if 60 students complete the prerequisite courses.
